Nessling Foundation general call is open 10.8.-11.9.2020
The Nessling Foundation awards funding for scientific research promoting environmental protection, and for the communication and implementation of research knowledge.
In this year’s general grant call, we award personal working grants and other funding for PhD projects and for the implementation of scientific environmental information. We have also opened a special call for postdoctoral projects. In the special call, we are looking for multidisciplinary projects on the theme “The economy and human health in the planet’s ecological crisis”. Read more about the special call here.
What can I apply for in the fall 2020 grant call?
- Personal working grants along with funding for other research costs for PhD projects (up to four years).
- Grants for implementation of scientific environmental information (50,000–100,000 euros per project). This funding is open to consortia involving researchers and end-users of the information (for example a company, municipality or other organization).
- Project funding (100,000–300,000 euros per project) for multidisciplinary research projects on the theme of The economy and human health in the planet’s ecological crisis. Read more about the special call here.
Also in the PhD and implementation of scientific environmental information categories, we welcome applications from the theme “The economy and human health in the planet’s ecological crisis”, but we also take into account other topics listed by our Foundation.
