Impact of temperature and salinity change on food web interactions in marine plankton communitiesThis project aims to investigate plankton interactions under different scenarios of warming and freshening of the Baltic Sea. We will use projections for future temperature and salinity change derived from modelling techniques to set up semi-natural experiments at Tvärminne Zoological Station. Results from this project will be used to develop new management strategies, in which mitigation targets are better suited to predicting climatic changes.
